Cordless Keysets

The INT2000 900MHz narrow band cordless telephone is designed for commercial applications and to work in conjunction with the Inter-Tel AXXESS, Inter-Tel Axxent and IMX telephone systems. This is a digital cordless telephone that will allow you to have access to multi-line appearances, Caller I.D. and other AXXESS digital telephone features.

The INT2000 will work from a digital station port of your AXXESS Inter-Tel Axxent and IMX telephone systems.

There are several key enhancements that distinguish the INT2000 from other cordless telephones on the market today:

  • The handset is equipped with a two-line, 16 character LCD that visually allows a user to view who is calling by Caller I.D., intercom location or designated incoming line. Visual indications of certain features, such as CNF for conferencing, will be displayed when initiating the conferencing function of the telephone system.
  • Headset jack option for hands-free operation - a functional cordless headset solution.
  • Vibrator alert in the handset for silent notification of incoming calls. Eliminates ringer interruption when in meetings.
  • Separate charger unit for the handset to allow recharging of the battery. Also, a separate charging position for a second battery.
  • Separate receiver unit that can be wall mounted, ceiling mounted or desktop located ensuring maximum range coverage by centralizing the base unit to reach a circular radius of around 150', depending on environment.
  • Compact design targeted for office use. Handset weighs less than 10 ounces.
  • Single-button access to most commonly used feature codes as referred to in the Inter-Tel Axxess, Inter-Tel Axxent and IMX user guide for the standard digital terminal instructions.
  • 900 MHz frequency digital narrow band technology offers less traffic interference than spread spectrum technology.
  • Single cell/single user system can support up to 30 simultaneous conversations in a given area.
  • Range: The INT2000 is designed for commercial use. Range has been approved for up to 150' per base unit, depending upon office environment. Range may be greater or less than this distance depending on the environment. Building electronics, walls, elevators and other electronic interference frequencies may limit the range of this telephone. Please consult your telecommunications consultant for testing of your facility.
  • The INT2000 cordless telephone can be configured into a multi-base unit configuration. Although there can be limitations to the receiving and placement of calls, this configuration allows for expected ranges of 150' per base unit, depending on location. Please see specifications for the requirements and conditions for a multi-base unit solution.

Other optional accessories include a 500m lead acid rechargeable battery for 5 hours of talk time and 40-plus hours of standby, and leather carrying case. (The INT2000 also includes a second battery.)

Compatibility

The INT2000 is compatible with the Inter-Tel AXXESS, Inter-Tel Axxent and IMX telephone systems. The INT2000 emulates the functions of a standard digital terminal set.

Range Capability

To maximize the range capability:

  1. Locate the base unit at the highest point possible in the center of your coverage zone. If planning to cover an outdoor area, such as a car lot, building grounds or campus, place the unit near a window and the highest point within the building.
  2. Place base unit away from any electronic device. This includes, but is not limited to, computer screens, radios, electronic signs, coffee pots, microwave ovens and other electronic devices.
  3. If you begin to move out of range, you will hear a warning tone and must move back into range within 20 seconds. If you are out of range of any base unit, you will see a NO SERVICE message on your display. The configuration of you Inter-Tel AXXESS, Inter-Tel Axxent or IMX telephone system may limit this capability.
